facility
design for private and public organizations to safeguard life and property
against fire,
explosion, and related hazards. You also will design and recommend materials or
equipment,

systems, fire
extinguishing devices and systems, height/area calculations, and egress modeling
and the
necessary materials, equipment, and methods for alleviation of conditions
conducive to
fire.

new
building designs for identifying fire/life safety deficiencies, necessary fire prevention,
protection, detection, and suppression requirements for architectural, mechanical,
plumbing, and electrical designs, as well as design equivalency comparisons.
· Analyzes and designs stairwell pressurization mechanical systems, atrium smoke
control/evacuation mechanical systems, and high-rise building smoke control designs and
control sequences for related mechanical systems.

schedules. Provides Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) reviews for architectural and
engineering discipline documents to identify areas of conflict with all disciplines, as
well as deficiencies in fire protection engineering design.
· Participates in prospective new client shortlist interviews, existing client
in-progress review meetings, and construction administration project phases by processing
shop drawings, responding to RFI’s, and performing site visits during the
