If you have a mechanical aptitude, know how to read a ruler and have good color vision, you could be on your way to a stable and rewarding career as a press operator earning $50-65K per year.
Qualified candidates will have a stable work or school history with an excellent attendance record. Prefer individuals with background in production type environment. Those with previous experience as a Jogger, Rolltender, or Press Assistant in a web or sheet fed setting will be given priority consideration.
This position is production oriented involving work that is very physical in nature and requires that candidates be able to; lift unassisted up to 100 lbs, push or pull assisted up to 500 lbs, stand for extended periods of time, maintain frequent use of hands and fingers to grasp, handle and move materials, frequently reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel and crouch.
The hours are 2nd shift 3pm-11pm, however frequent 12 hour shifts are mandatory (7pm-7am). Weekends will also be regularly required.
