Position is responsible for the installation, development, on-going management
and support
of eFrame services, as well as the migration of legacy technologies to
contemporary
solutions offered to client by eFrame.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide installation, upgrade or desk side support to clients undergoing implementations and/or project activity.
- Follow implementation standards and processes put in place by eFrame as well as make recommendations on improvements to those processes.
- Work with and take direction from eFrame’s Lead Engineers to rollout new clients.
- Manage the implementation projects at the client site when the Lead Engineer is not physically available.
- Routinely work with third party software developers to migrate applications from one OS to another and trouble shoot issues that may arise from these migrations / upgrades.
- Provide end-user desktop support within the clients existing environment while implementing their new environment.
- Research, recommend and implement technology solutions for issues that arise while onsite performing an implementation.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Bachelors degree in MIS or the equivalent work experience
- 3+ years experience in technology with at least one year in a team lead/ managerial role
- Excellent end-user communication and training skills
- Excellent business writing and communication skills
- Extensive background in data retrieval and migration from a variety of OS platforms
- Extensive background with Microsoft Windows 2000 / XP
- Solid experience with Windows 2000 and superior troubleshooting skills
- Experience designing, architecting, implementing and supporting large, multi-site Windows 2000 / XP environments
- Knowledgeable in supporting TCP/IP & IPX networked devices with a solid understanding of routers
PREFERRED SKILLS
- Previous end-user helpdesk experience
- Experience in conducting one-on-one and group orientations/training
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Carrying a cell phone required.
- Ability bend, crouch, crawl.
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
- Must be able to travel as needed depending on market.
- Ability to type using a keyboard and mouse.
- Safe operational vehicle to travel to customer sites.
- Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance.
