Position Description
PEROT SYSTEMS CORPORATION is a worldwide provider of information technology services and business solutions to a broad range of clients. It is currently looking for a Physician Services Solution Architect to join our national team. This role can be based anywhere with the US as it will require frequent travel to client sites.

Responsibilities:

The Solution Architect (SA) is the subject matter expert for physician revenue cycle services and is responsible for the overall revenue cycle solution planning and design for the Physician Services Division. The SA engages early in the sales cycle with the Sales Executive to understand customer requirements and business drivers, and collaborates with other business units to support the overall pursuit of new business. The SA works with the Sales Executive to introduce the Physician Services revenue cycle solutions and capabilities to prospective clients.

As an integral part of the sales pursuit process, the SA participates in the client sales presentations and provides vision and strategy as needed to develop global process and technology solutions that are responsive to client business and delivery challenges. The SA is expected to lead the revenue cycle solution design process in a manner that aligns customer needs and requirements with Perot Systems global capabilities.

Working with the pursuit team, the SA is responsible for ensuring that the solution design process is executed effectively by creating and certifying the most appropriate business and technical solution during all assigned business pursuits. The SA helps to coordinate the overall due diligence process and then develops and verifies the accuracy of the proposed business model and technical solution with the operational delivery team. The SA will work with the assigned finance department to develop standardized cost models, incorporating applicable service definitions, staffing and other resource requirements, along with service level expectations and delivery timeframes. The SA is responsible for ensuring that the value proposition communicated and sold to the client is relevant and that the integrity of the solution is consistent throughout the pursuit, contract negotiation, and final transition to the operational team.

Accountability:
  • Pursuit Leadership: ability to perform Solutions Architect functions for pursuits that are focused within the physician services revenue cycle area
  • Client Relationships: Interfaces, presents and assists in building relationships with client; represents revenue cycle sales and solution design as a prime contact with customer
  • Technical Depth: Applies extensive expertise as a subject matter expert in the physician revenue cycle services field; develops solutions to complex problems which require regular use of ingenuity and creativity
  • Business/Financial Acumen: Leads the financial modeling of revenue cycle solutions for Physician Services
  • Participates in deal negotiations with contract negotiation team

    Required Skills:
  • Physician Services revenue cycle operational leadership and management: 810 years
  • Broad or varied experience in various physician and provider delivery settings preferred

    Minimum Educational Requirements:
  • Undergraduate degree
