Cabela's Retail, Inc is hiring an Seasonal Housekeeping Associate for our Retail Store in LaVista, NE. These positions are a critical link to our customers. This is an exciting opportunity for all outdoor enthusiasts. This position's duties include: Maintains cleanliness and upkeep of building, equipment and grounds. Performs general cleaning duties, including but not limited to: dusting, cleaning bathrooms and break rooms, vacuuming carpets, scrubbing and burnishing floors, sweeping sidewalks, cleaning windows, and picking up trash and emptying trash receptacles. Orders and stocks various supplies as needed. Performs other duties as assigned by management. This position requires: Knowledge and experience with housekeeping and general maintenance principles. Must be a Customer Service oriented team player and have the ability to pay close attention to detail. Must have the ability to effectively communicate with customers and other business contacts in a courteous and professional manner. General knowledge of company products, retail practices and procedures is preferred. Ability to pay close attention to detail regarding cleaning areas and methods. Skill in the safe use of vacuum cleaner, electric scrubbing machine, and rug shampooing machine. Skill in safe use of various hand and power tools. Requires some heavy lifting. May require use of ladders and lift equipment. Must have a high school diploma, or equivalent. Must be able to work the following: at least 3 out of 4 weekends a month; any day, including holidays; overnight, early morning, opening and closing shifts.
