Cabela's Retail, Inc is hiring a Seasonal Retail Associates for our over-night Stocking and Receiving Crews for our Retail Store in LaVista, NE . These positions are a critical link to our customers. This is an exciting opportunity for all outdoor enthusiasts.

This position's duties include:

• Accurately stocks new merchandise to the sales floor in the proper home locations following fill procedures.
• Determines merchandise to be back-stocked and works with stocking leads to determine location.
• Ensures all restocked areas are free of debris before store opening.
• Locates items for customer needs, including layaway and hold items, and delivers them to the departments or registers.
• Receives restock orders from departments then pulls the merchandise and delivers and stocks to the proper area.
• Receives items returned from departments, scans and returns to proper locations.
• Accurately prices product.
• Operates a forklift, pallet jack, shrink wrapper, hand lift, clothing cart, steamer and hand held scanning equipment.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.

This position requires:

• Knowledge and work experience in stocking merchandise, plus familiarity with warehouse and receiving areas.
• Must be a Customer Service oriented team player and have the ability to pay close attention to detail.
• Must have the ability to effectively communicate with customers and other business contacts in a courteous and professional manner.
• General knowledge of company products, retail practices and procedures is preferred.
• Requires heavy lifting.
• Must have a high school diploma, or equivalent.
• Must be able to work the following: at least 3 out of 4 weekends a month; any day, including holidays; overnight, early morning, opening and closing shifts.

Qualified candidates should have solid knowledge and at least 1 year of experience in the following areas:

• Pallet jacks
• Forklifts
• Steamers
• Shrink wrappers
• Clothing Carts
• Hand-held scanning devices
• Hand lifts
