Licensed Telesales Agents are responsible for interviewing consumers on insurance needs and providing consultative advice on available Physicians Mutual products. We are seeking quick thinkers; able to react to customer feedback and provide sound insurance advice to meet customers' needs. No cold-calling, leads are provided. Base salary plus bonuses.
Job Responsibilities:

Places sales calls to customers and prospective customers.

Receives calls directly from customers and responds appropriately.

Provides insurance consultation to prospective customers.

Takes insurance applications over the phone and binds coverage where appropriate.

Represents Physicians Mutual in a sales/service capacity.

Portrays a positive image of Company and self.
Job Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

A State Life and Health Insurance License is required.

One to two years previous Insurance Telesales experience is required.

Ability to relate to customers with varying degrees of insurance knowledge.

Strong communication skills.

Ability to use PC and telephone technologies.

Ability to produce in a high production environment and meet established goals.
