Immanuel Communities is seeking a Full time Food Service Associateto work atDeerfield, located at 13731 Hickman Road, Urbandale, IA 50323.Deerfield has 122 independent living apartment homes, 32 independent living patio homes, 20 assisted living, 24 residential care apartment homes and 30 long-term care/skilled nursing suites.Scheduled hours will be Saturdays/Sundays double shifts: 7:00am-2:00pm, then 4:00pm-7:00pm; plus some weekdays either 7:00am-2:00pm or 4:00pm-7:00pm, so must have flexibility to work approximately 32 hours/week--including holidays. Must be at least 18 years old to be considered for this position.

This position will pay up to $18.00/hour (straight pay/no tips).Pay will be based upon experience, certifications, skills and education.

What You Will Do

The primary responsibilities of a Food Service Associate include assisting in patient tray line assembly and related duties such as loading, operating, and cleaning the dishwasher. Assists in the service of meals to cafeteria patrons and operates the cash register. Also maintains the records, inventories, surveys, and other controls relevant to the cafeteria.

Skills & Requirements

Previous food service experience preferred.

Must be 18 years of age or older
For cafeteria duties, cash handling experience preferred.
