As part of our aggressive growth strategy in the Americas, we are looking for a high-performing Technical Sales Engineer to ensure we meet our revenue growth targets by providing great product expertise to potential customers, specifically focusing on our products.
What You Will Do
- Provide sales technical demonstrations and respond to potential customer queries through frequent interaction with the sales team
- Interact face-to-face with potential and existing customers, typically at industry conferences, association meetings and exhibitions.
- Provide webinar-based training for existing and potential customers
- Develop key customer relationships, leading to increased satisfaction and sense of value, thus increasing customer retention.
- Explain complex workflows and technology in simple, easy to follow terms.
- Leverage your industry knowledge in Architecture, Engineering and Construction to help and teach customers best practices for using Allplan software.
- Create and maintain regional technical documentation (FAQs), how-to guides and videos, and promotional documentation
What We Need In You
- Professional Engineering Licensure (preferrably Structural)
- Knowledge of Building Information Modelling (BIM) in the North American market
- Knowledge of AEC customer lifecycle, and experience in sales/pre-sales environments
- Someone who loves to communicate and takes joy in working directly with customers to solve their problems.
- A strong ability to present to customers, and influence credibly and effectively
