Physical Therapist Assistant

FTC Kids is seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist and Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support our growing pediatric caseload. As a valued member of our interdisciplinary team, the assistant role will work closely under the supervision of a Physical Therapist to provide high-quality, play-based therapy for children in a nurturing and collaborative environment.

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.

• Current state PT / PTA license.

• 2+ Years of Pediatric experience in working with children with developmental differences.

• Minimum 1 year of Pediatric Physical Therapy experience.

• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills.

• Must be eligible to work in the U.S.

• Proficient in English (spoken & written)

Highly Recommended:

• Experience in pediatric settings such as clinics, schools, or early intervention.
• Familiarity with play-based, strengths-focused therapy models.
• A collaborative mindset and openness to mentorship and learning.

Key Responsibilities day to day:

• Deliver physical therapy interventions based on treatment plans developed by a licensed PT.
• Support children with various diagnoses (autism, down syndrome, genetic diagnoses, dyspraxia, etc.)
• Engage children in creative, play-based activities that build physical skills and confidence.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of OTs, SLPs, and behavior therapists.
• Communicate regularly with caregivers to reinforce home exercise programs.
• Document treatment sessions accurately and efficiently.
