Job Overview:
The Administrative Credit Assistant will play a key role in reviewing, processing, and managing credit applications. Working closely with the Credit Manager, this individual will ensure that credit assessments are completed accurately and within company policy, while also maintaining a high level of customer service. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage administrative tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in credit administration processes and ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and internal controls.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and communication.  Ability to troubleshoot issues as   they arise
  • Maintain accurate records and perform data entry tasks
  • Utilize computer systems and software for daily tasks
  • Support the team with administrative duties as needed

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or related field is a plus).
  • Prior experience in credit administration or finance is preferred but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to process applications efficiently and accurately.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with credit management software is a plus.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Team player with the ability to work under the supervision of the Credit Manager.
