Description

Midwest Eye Care is looking for an Accounts Specialist at our location at 13500 California Street in Omaha, NE.

Full-time, Monday - Friday

8-hour days

In this role YOU will:

• Post charges and payments to the appropriate patient accounts.
• Sort daily charge tickets, count cash and checks.
• Follow up on monthly Account Receivable list of charges.
• Facilitate daily download of credit card transactions.
• Monitor errors and educate team members on payer requirements.

Outstanding candidates will have:

• Attention to detail and ability to handle tasks that are detail oriented.
• Knowledge of Insurance plans and practice services.
• Have experience in patient accounts.
• The ability to navigate in EMR system
• This position requires a minimum of a high school diploma/GED
• Ability to sit for extended periods of the work day. 
• Ability to work evening and weekend work hours as needed monthly to ensure payments are posted by month end.

Offered Candidates will need to do the following before first day:

• Successfully complete a background check which includes an education verification and employment credit check.
• Successfully complete drug testing.
