The Software Engineer will function as a developer for web and desktop applications, including design, development, and quality control, as well as troubleshooting and maintaining existing applications.

This position will be with National Indemnity Company in Omaha, NE with a hybrid 50% in the office work environment. This position is not eligible for employer visa sponsorship. #LI-Hybrid / #LI-Onsite

What will you do?

• Design, develop, and maintain applications

• Building and maintaining data pipelines and architecture, ensuring data integrity

• Develop code and scripts to build data sets and to automate ETL processes

• Coaching programming staff on development standards and procedures

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or related field

• Cloud-based technologies ex.Azure (DevOps, Data Studio, etc.)

• Database manipulation software and/or software application development (ex. .NET, SQL, Python, etc.)

• Secure coding practices

• Knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
