Licensing & Commissions Manager

The Physicians Mutual Licensing & Commissions Division is adding to their team!

As the Manager for Licensing & Commissions division this role serves as a representative of the Licensing & Commissions division, overseeing the definition of system requirements, testing, implementation, and maintenance for both new and existing business blocks, as well as system enhancements. 

What Youâ??ll Do in This Roleâ?¦

• Guides and mentorsâ?? staff to consistently surpass performance standards and deliver exceptional service to customers.
• Manages the processing of all commission transactions across product lines and distribution channels, coordinating payment through the Payroll Administrator or Accounting Department.
• Coordinates implementation of changes for all systems impacting agent organization and pay.
• Works closely with relevant departments to plan and execute projects in accordance with corporate and departmental business plan strategies.
• Manages and coach staff to exceed performance standards for their customers. 
• Oversees employee records management, leads recruitment efforts, conducts performance appraisals, and implements disciplinary measures as necessary.
• Contributes valuable insights and recommendations to the development and finalization of the operating budget.

What You Bring to the Table:

• Bachelorâ??s degree in Business Administration or similar field is required.
• 5+ yearsâ?? experience in the insurance industry is required.
• 4+ yearsâ?? Supervisory experience is required.
• Strong working knowledge of insurance company principles, products and operations with emphasis on commissions and agent licensing is required.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, and Word with exposure to Tableau reporting, NIPR Producer Database, Vertafore PLM or other similar software experience is required.
• Technical understanding and familiarity with Agile methodologies is required.
