About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) and Vice President of Patient Care Services to provide executive nursing management, direction, and leadership. The successful candidate will be responsible for fostering a caring, service-oriented professional culture that prioritizes employee engagement, quality, patient safety, and the overall patient experience. This role involves being a key member of the senior leadership team, building effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring the strategic and operational effectiveness of the nursing division. The CNO will also be involved in performance improvement activities, financial stewardship, and the integration of evidence-based practices into the organization's operations. Applicants for the CNO position at the company should have a BSN, with a Master's degree in nursing or a related healthcare field required, and a PhD or DNP in nursing preferred. A minimum of 5 years experience in senior nursing leadership roles is necessary, with a preference for those who have worked in a Magnet-designated environment. The role requires a current Pennsylvania RN license or the ability to obtain one, and National Nurse Executive Certification is also preferred. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leadership, including staff development, mentoring, and coaching, and must be adept at navigating a matrixed organizational structure. Responsibilities include creating and communicating a shared vision, engaging in strategic goal development, and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. The CNO will also be expected to promote a culture of safety, diversity, and community involvement, and to serve as a professional role model and mentor for future nursing leaders.
