About the Role

The Company is seeking a VP of Portfolio Operations - Procurement to lead major value creation and transformation initiatives within its portfolio of companies. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the value creation plan, particularly in the areas of sourcing, procurement, and operations projects. This role requires a strategic leader with a proven track record in driving complex and heavy change, deep expertise in strategic sourcing and procurement, and a strong background in operations and supply chain. The VP will work closely with deal teams, management teams, and consultants to improve the performance of portfolio companies and ensure the delivery of financial and operational KPIs. Candidates for the VP position should have 10-20 years of progressive leadership experience, with a background that includes both consulting and in-house industry transformations. Experience in a private equity environment, particularly with a focus on EBITDA improvement for low growth or maturing companies, is essential. The role demands a leader with a diverse industry background, experience in carve-outs, stand-ups, and merger integrations, and a proven ability to identify and act on critical value levers. Strong management, project management, and execution skills are required, as is the ability to operate at both the strategic and tactical levels. The ideal candidate will have a friendly and engaging personality, exceptional interpersonal skills, and the ability to influence and manage stakeholders at all levels.
