SUMMARY

This full-time opportunity offers a hands-on role within a dynamic manufacturing setting, where the Electronic Technician will be responsible for enhancing, repairing, and troubleshooting electronic systems and controls. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Diagnose, repair, and improve a variety of electronic/electrical equipment and machinery used in manufacturing.
  • Utilize engineering and design software to assist in maintenance and development tasks.
  • Work closely with the maintenance team to identify and source needed parts and components.
  • Interpret and apply standard engineering principles to accomplish assignments.
  • Independently plan and execute job functions using prior experience and judgment.
  • Perform complex troubleshooting tasks and develop solutions independently.
  • Escalate and resolve potentially hazardous electrical issues with supervisory input.
  • Conduct feasibility assessments and safety checks for design implementations.
  • Provide leadership or guidance to peers as needed; serve as backup for Maintenance Manager when required.
  • Maintain a positive and professional attitude in the workplace and among team members.
  • Complete other tasks as directed by the Maintenance Manager.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical/electronic engineering or minimum of 5 years relevant experience.
  • Strong understanding of electronics design, troubleshooting, and installation.
  • Experience with PLC, HMI, VFDs, relay logic circuits, and temperature controllers.
  • Comfortable working with various voltages including 24v, 110v, 220v, and 480v systems.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and multimeter tools.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with excellent communication abilities.
  • Ability to follow intricate instructions and resolve technical challenges independently.
  • Experience in manufacturing environments preferred; bilingual capability is a plus.
  • Physically able to walk frequently, lift components, and work in high-temperature environments up to 110 F.
  • Able to visually distinguish wire colors and electronic sections accurately.
