About Our Client I'm partnered with a high growth organization in the hospitality space located in Downtown Chicago, IL. This organization has over a decade entities under their umbrella and are now looking to bring a Senior Accountant to their team due to expansion within their portfolio! Job Description
Direct all day-to-day accounting activities, including receivables, payables, payroll allocations, intercompany reconciliations, and monthly close procedures.
Generate and interpret financial reports-P&Ls, balance sheets, and other key statements-for each operational entity.
Deliver comprehensive financial reporting in line with contractual management agreements, covering fee structures, reimbursable costs, and capital expenditures.
Uphold compliance with GAAP standards and internal financial controls.
Navigate the complexities of management agreements, ensuring accurate distribution of shared costs, fees, and reimbursements.
Monitor and reconcile capital investments funded by landlords and tenants, such as buildouts and operational enhancements.
Work closely with operations to ensure seamless integration of POS data into accounting systems like Restaurant365.
Assemble financial packages and fee breakdowns for landlord review, ensuring all required documentation is complete and timely.
Support budget planning and forecasting cycles, contributing to annual and rolling financial projections.
Investigate budget variances and identify actionable opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
Oversee cash flow across internal and external accounts, coordinating funding needs with relevant stakeholders.
Ensure all regulatory filings, vendor documentation, and insurance obligations are current and compliant.
Assist the CFO with audit preparation and respond to financial inquiries from landlords and investors.

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
3-5+ years of experience
Experience from hospitality/real estate/restaurant/hotels/etc. a MUST
Management contract experience
Month-end close experience
Strong Excel skills
Restaurant365 experience huge plus
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
Ability to work in fast paced-environment
