Mechanical Design Technician

Develop and prepare detailed design drawings and specifications for mechanical equipment, piping, and duct systems for industrial construction and installation projects. Utilize CAD software to produce three-dimensional models and schematic, orthographic, and angle views to illustrate the functional relationships of assemblies, piping layouts, and mechanical components. Review and analyze technical specifications, sketches, and project data to determine design requirements and constraints, ensuring compliance with construction standards and operational goals. Modify and revise mechanical and piping designs to address operational deficiencies or to improve constructability and resolve issues encountered during fabrication or field installation. Prepare shop drawings for piping and ductwork to support installation teams and coordinate design updates with field engineers and construction personnel. Support mechanical and industrial pipeline installation by providing technical drawings, design clarifications, and documentation for equipment and system integration.
